Byron begins a new series in 2 Peter, written at the end of Peter’s life. From chapter 1 he focuses on the following points.
- The glory of Jesus is never diminished
- God’s word is true
- Prophecy in scripture is not from the interpretation of man but by the Holy Spirit
- We have everything by His divine power
- By these things we continue to grow in knowledge of God
