Yesterday, one of our leaders, Jonathan, shared about the TGP fast that launched. Jonathan shared about the purpose of our fast as well as different kinds of fasts and the power of fasting. Below, I’d like to recount four reasons for the TGP fast. These can serve as your prayer topics as you seek the Lord’s face for the next few weeks.
Individuals at TGP
–That we would become more intimate with God leading to spiritual growth and maturity (Ephesians 4:13)
–That each member of TGP can use their gifts and talents to serve the Lord and others (1 Peter 4:10-11)

–That we would be a habitation of God’s glory and presence each time we come together in His name (Exodus 29:43)
–That the Good news of the Kingdom of God would advance through us to Libertyville, Lake County, and the world. That God’s power would be demonstrated through us and the world would take notice (Acts 4:29-31)
Future direction for our church
–That God would lead us through wisdom and revelation in the future programs, format, and direction of the church (Psalms 25:4-5)
Church in America
–That the church would be humble, united, and mature (Philippians 2:5-8)
–That we would be a praying church who understands and discerns the times we are living in (Acts 1:13-14, 2:1)
